Ποια θα μπορούσε να είναι η θρησκευτικότητα ενός φιλοσόφου που κατηγορήθηκε από τους πάντες ως υλιστής, «άθεος» και «ηδονιστής»;
Η θέση του Επίκουρου, «ο θεός δεν έχει προβλήματα ούτε σε άλλους προκαλεί, κι έτσι ούτε οργίζεται με κανέναν ούτε χαρίζεται σε κανέναν· όλα αυτά είναι γνωρίσματα αδύναμου όντος», συνιστά αθεΐα; Αποτελεί αντίφαση το να πιστεύει κανείς στην ύπαρξη του θεού και συγχρόνως να τον αποκλείει από τις ανθρώπινες υποθέσεις;
Το βιβλίο φωτίζει πολλές πλευρές της ελληνικής ιστορίας και θρησκείας και εξετάζει νηφάλια τις θέσεις της επικούρειας φιλοσοφίας απέναντι στο θρησκευτικό φαινόμενο.

Επικούρειες επιδράσεις στον διαφωτισμό
Είναι η ώρα ενός νέου διαφωτισμού που θα βοηθήσει την Ευρώπη και όλο τον Δυτικό πολιτισμό, να βρει και πάλι το σημείο αναφοράς του για να μπορέσει να επιβιώσει. Είναι και πάλι η στιγμή να ξαναανακαλύψουμε την Φιλοσοφία του Επίκουρου.

Οι Φίλοι της Επικούρειας Φιλοσοφίας στη «Zona Rosa» της ΕΤ3
Οι φίλοι μας, Δημήτρης Λιαρμακόπουλος και Αντώνης Μπιλίσης, εκπροσώπησαν άξια τον "Κήπο Θεσσαλονίκης" στη δημοσιογραφική εκπομπή Zona Rosa (στις 24/12/2014), της δοκιμαζόμενης και αντιστεκόμενης ΕΤ3.
